Here at Birtchnells we are always looking for Clothing and accessories that are sustainable.

We are now stockist of Swole Panda.

Swole Panda is pioneering a sustainable future by using bamboo for their Boxer/Trunks and Socks and using recycled plastic bottles for their belts.

Species of bamboo equal to the height and width of a tree take as little as three years to mature completely making it one of the most sustainable natural resources the planet has provided us.

They have broken new ground, being the very first company to make them from REPREVE®, a material composed out of recycled plastic bottles recovered from the ocean. Their  belts contain the equivalent of 7 plastic bottles that had previously been discarded.

Swole Panda are also partnered with Ocean Generation, an NGO with the mission to stop plastic from reaching our oceans within a generation. With each belt sold, they donate 5% of profits.

All the production processes in the Swole Panda range are designed to minimise our impact on the environment. That’s why we are 100% transparent with our process and where our materials are sourced. We aim to have the smallest possible footprint on our environment and have a positive impact on the workers throughout our whole manufacturing process.
Please feel free to reach out if you want to learn more about Swole Panda, processes, facilities or ethos.

T-shirt and polo shirts will be in stock from next year.

Their t-shirts and Polo shirts combine comfort and style. TENCEL Lyocell fibers with REFIBRA technology are made from a substantial proportion of pulp from cotton scraps that would otherwise have gone to waste combined with wood pulp. It’s a new basis of making textiles that has a better impact on the environment.
